Job Summary: We are seeking staff to provide comprehensive care and support to elderly individuals in a residential facility, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and medication administration. Assessment of prior experience and specific training In a residential facility, staff are required to care for and support elderly residents. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, repositioning, and resident mobility. Staff also help with feeding by serving meals and supervising residents who can eat independently to ensure proper nutrition. Another responsibility is ensuring adequate hydration, administering oral medications as prescribed by nursing staff (excluding high-risk drugs), and assisting with room and clothing cleaning. Additionally, staff accompany residents to therapies and activities and support the tutoring of students on practical placements. A permanent, full-time contract is offered, with rotating morning and afternoon shifts from Monday to Sunday. Immediate start is required. Prior experience of at least six months in a similar role is preferred. Specific training is mandatory, such as the Vocational Training Cycle in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Vocational Training Cycle in Care for Dependent Persons, or the Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions. Additional training in gerontology, food handling, or gender equality is considered an advantage. * Vocational Training Cycle in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Vocational Training Cycle in Care for Dependent Persons, or Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions. * Minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience is desirable. * Complementary training in gerontology, food handling, or related fields. * Additional training courses related to the field—as well as complementary training promoting gender equality—will be viewed favorably.
