The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA. **ABOUT THE ROLE** ------------------ We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Designer /Engineer to join our regional pre\-sales team in Europe. In this role, you will lead the technical qualification of opportunities and own the technical components of customer proposals, leveraging your expertise in emerging technologies and SITA’s solution portfolio. You will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, supporting sales activities, and delivering cost\-effective, high\-quality solutions for customers in the air transport industry. **JOB PURPOSE** --------------- * Provide technical qualification and ownership of the technical aspects of customer proposals, using in\-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies and SITA solution portfolios. * Design and coordinate the development of standard and complex solutions, involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third\-party vendors. * Support Sales teams during all pre\-contract phases (qualification, proposal, and contract) with technical designs and expert advice. * Lead virtual Pre\-sales/Bid teams by setting objectives and timeline, communicating goals, and coordinating stakeholders across a matrix organization (Sales, Business Units, Support \& Delivery teams, partners, and suppliers). * Deliver cost\-effective, implementable solutions based on detailed customer requirements, strong product knowledge, and applicable professional services. * Contribute to the development of long\-term technical account strategies in collaboration with Sales, maximizing account penetration and commercial value for SITA. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------ * Act as a technical interface for customers and lead technical engagements from initial contact through solution deployment. * Analyze and understand customer business requirements and translate them into SITA products and solutions. * Contribute to the optimal win strategy and determine the appropriate level of response to successfully bid for and win contracts. * Design and coordinate the development of business solutions involving multiple internal and external parties. * Own and deliver the technical components of customer proposals. * Develop and manage the overall bid project plan, including building and leading a virtual bid team to deliver bid outcomes effectively and efficiently. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Commercial, Global Services, and Delivery /Implementation teams to build compelling business cases and proposals. * Lead and manage virtual teams of up to 10 people, as needed * Work closely with Delivery / Project Managers to ensure an efficient handover to Delivery teams upon contract award, including clear and comprehensive solution documentation. * Provide regular, clear progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders, escalating major issues as required. Qualifications: **EXPERIENCE** -------------- * 5–8 years of experience in Information Technology, Air Transport Industry technology or Telecommunications in a technical pre\-sale role. * Proven track record of producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical solution proposals for customers * Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. * Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are a plus. Knowledge \& Skills * Solid understanding of technical and commercial aspects of the air transport industry (knowledge of technologies such as passenger or baggage management applications are a strong advantage). * Ability to interact confidently with key stakeholders and senior decision\-makers. * Good customer\-facing, interpersonal, commercial, and financial awareness skills. * Strong problem\-solving and presentation skills. * Good understanding of field service delivery and operational processes. **WHAT WE OFFER** ----------------- We're all about diversity.
