The Human Resources Manager provides technical expertise for a team of HR professionals representing a functional discipline (e.g., Benefits, Payroll) or a department. The position works with their team to implement the HR strategies and tactics to ensure their area follows HR programs and policies. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and is accountabe for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function. Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline. Decisions and problem\-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager. Accountable for the results of a small to medium\-size projects/programs with dedicated team(s) and individual contributors, through direct reporting lines. Coordinates the activities of professional staff in an assigned work area and/or manages first\-line supervisors. Provides HR consultation to managers in the strategic planning process and develops human resources some strategies that support business area\-specific needs. Ensures alignment between HR strategy and business objectives. Responsible for working with the HR Management team to implement the corporate human resources strategy (e.g., performance management, compensation \& salary planning, talent management, employee relations, analytics/reporting, recruitment). Responsible for management and development of a team of direct reports. Partner with leaders, and employee teams to proactively address the human capital objectives and needs of the business to include recruitment, development, compensation planning, employee relations, organization effectiveness, change leadership, employee engagement \& retention and communication. May partner with local HR employees, legal and finance to manage international assignments and employee agreements. Implements tactical HR initiatives to improve and facilitate company effectiveness, (e.g., organizational design, and culture development). Proactively gathers and analyzes various Human Resources statistics to monitor trends (e.g., exit interviews, turnover, development plans, performance reward systems) and develops recommendations and strategies to ensure Business Unit effectiveness in the areas of retention, performance management, and employee development. Provides coaching and guidance to managers and supervisors in identifying and analyzing training and development needs of their employees. Helps identify and evaluates changes in industry practices and business trends and recommends appropriate strategies to address these changes. Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Performs other related duties as assigned. **EDUCATION:** A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field is required with strong experience with data analysis, interpretation and analytics is required; Division level leadership skills is also required. **EXPERENCE:** 9 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:** None. **KNOWLEDGE:** Proficient knowledge of own discipline. **SKILLS (proficiency level generally aligns to knowledge section above):** * Verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to assemble and disassembly hydraulic items and wire electrical items.
