Professional development opportunities **Accounting Assistant (Temporary Contract)** **Workplace:** Suria **Job Description** Your primary responsibility will be to provide operational and technical support to the accounting team, ensuring accurate transaction recording, efficient accounts payable management, and compliance with current accounting regulations, using SAP as the main tool. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Record invoices and accounting documents in SAP. * Manage and track supplier payments. * Support monthly and annual accounting closings. * Reconcile accounts and resolve payment-related discrepancies. * Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, Personal Income Tax, etc.). * Assist in preparing documentation required by official authorities. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure correct expense allocation. * Ensure compliance with ICL’s environmental best practices and Code of Ethics. **Requirements:** Technical or university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Minimum 2 years’ prior experience in financial administration and accounts payable. Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations. Proficiency in SAP (FI module) and office tools (especially Excel). Intermediate level of English.
