We work on international projects with financial institutions, fintechs, and startups. **About the Role** We seek a **Functional Architect** profile with experience in designing **functional architectures**, **process optimization and reengineering**, and defining **AI-driven technological solutions**, especially in complex financial sector environments. The candidate will join a high-impact context, collaborating with business and technology teams to define viable, scalable, and client-need-aligned solutions. Experience in **CIB Corporate & Investment Banking** and functional knowledge of financial products and processes are highly valued. **Responsibilities:** * Define and design **functional architectures** for new developments, applications, and software solutions. * Analyze business needs and translate them into viable **functional solutions**, aligned with the global architecture. * Lead **process reengineering initiatives**, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and transformation. * Apply architectural methodologies and tools to generate **functional views** and high-level documentation. * Develop **functional specifications**, ensuring system viability, integration, and consistency with the technological ecosystem. * Evaluate **third-party solutions**, analyzing their functional and technical fit within the existing environment. * Participate in defining **AI-based solutions**, including use cases involving **LLMs** and **AI Agents**. * Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating communication among business, architecture, and technology areas. * Provide functional insight for initiatives related to products and processes in **Global Debt Financing**, risk, portfolio management, and distribution. **Architecture Requirements:** * Solid experience as a **Functional Architect**, **Business Architect**, or similar role in complex corporate environments. * Strong ability to identify and define **functional requirements** for new applications or enhancements. * Demonstrable experience in **process reengineering** and functional redesign. * Knowledge of **functional architecture tools and methodologies**. * Ability to develop **high-level functional specifications**, considering integration, viability, and business alignment. * Experience in analyzing and evaluating **third-party software**. * Familiarity with **Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions**, especially **LLMs** and **AI Agents**. * High proficiency in both **English and Spanish**, written and spoken. **Corporate & Investment Banking Requirements:** * Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: + **Global Debt Financing (GDF)**: Syndicated Loans and Project Finance. + **Finance & Active Portfolio Management**: TTI and P&L calculation, balance sheet optimization, liquidity analysis, and capital optimization. + **Credit & Counterparty Risk**: rating models, limits, exposure metrics, and risk control models. + **Distribution Methods / Asset Hedging**: Secondary Sales, Securitizations, Risk Participation Agreements, Insurances, TRS, and capital impact analysis. **Nice-to-Have:** * Proactivity * Drive for excellence * Empathy and teamwork skills * Learning agility and attention to detail * Client orientation **We Offer:** * Open compensation package: We tailor it to your experience and expectations. * Flexible benefits: private health insurance, meal vouchers, training, etc. * Free training to support your professional growth. * Free English classes, depending on your level. * Opportunities to participate in diverse, interesting international projects within a continuously growing sector. **Location:** Madrid — **HYBRID** Join a young, dynamic consulting firm and continue your professional growth and development.
