Management and control of engineering projects across all phases. **Contract Type: Temporary – Full-time** **Job Description** We are seeking an Industrial Engineer specializing in Industrial Electronics and Automation or Industrial Technologies (ITI) to support the Engineering Department in executing plant projects during 2026. The selected candidate will assume progressively increasing responsibilities based on their education and development within the department. **Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, with specialization in Industrial Electronics and Automation or Industrial Technologies (ITI). * Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in industrial environments, preferably in areas related to projects, maintenance, automation, or processes. * Open-minded individual with capacity for continuous learning. * Ability to plan, organize, and mobilize resources. * Skill in coordinating teams and collaborating across multiple departments. * Ability to build trust-based relationships and positively influence the work environment. * Agile decision-making oriented toward efficiency and safety. **Main Responsibilities** * Management and control of engineering projects across all phases, with full or partial responsibility depending on project complexity. * Coordination and supervision of external services linked to projects. * Participation in plant energy management aimed at environmental and economic optimization (GSA, ISO 50001, technical procurement, improvement projects, etc.). * Participation in internal teams related to PHA, Process Safety Management, MOC, Near Misses, Ergonomics, Sustainability, and others. **Work Process Stages** * Design: Definition of technical specifications according to internal requirements. * Procurement: Evaluation of solutions and purchase proposals. * Approval: Monitoring of internal administrative procedures for economic validation of the project (ACTs). * Execution: Coordination of suppliers and involved parties, technical and compliance supervision. * Commissioning: Verification of operation and final adjustments. * Documentation and Closure: Delivery of technical, legal, and safety documentation. **Key Aspects of the Position** * Economic project control (purchase orders, invoicing). * Management of internal and external authorizations. * Procurement management: purchase requisitions, delivery tracking. * Technical supervision: compliance with specifications and performance requirements. * Schedule and timeline control. * Documentation control and maintenance (legal documents). * Strict adherence to PPG internal standards regarding safety, prevention, hygiene, and environmental protection.
