**Description:** ---------------- Mercaconsult is seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a high-level technical team in the flexible packaging machinery sector, serving industries such as food, dairy, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical. No experience? Even better—we’ll train you. **What will you do?** * Design machine parts and subassemblies using Solid Edge. * Prepare technical drawings, exploded views, and bills of materials (BOM). * Design basic pneumatic circuits. * Collaborate closely with electrical and procurement departments. * Participate in innovative projects where your designs will make a difference. **What do we offer?** * Stable position. * Salary according to collective agreement (approx. €27,000 SBA). * Flexible working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.5 hours per day; Friday, 6 hours. Start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. * Dynamic and collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth. * Participation in innovative industrial machinery projects. **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for?** * Education: Industrial Technical Engineering degree or equivalent. * Enthusiasm to learn and grow as a mechanical design engineer in industrial machinery within the packaging environment. * Valuable technical knowledge: Solid Edge, SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD. * Personal competencies: Initiative and autonomy, analytical ability, organization and planning skills, and teamwork.
