We are currently strengthening our team and looking for a **Software Engineer** with experience in the **banking sector** to join our Madrid team. **What will be your role?** * Communicate with stakeholders, operations, business units, and technology teams. * Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot 3\.x and JPA. * Develop and document RESTful APIs following OpenAPI specifications. * Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code. * Analyze and optimize existing applications to improve performance and scalability. * Manage builds and dependencies with Maven (advanced) and Gradle. * Implement and maintain database versioning with Liquibase. * Develop web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit, Unit, and WireMock. * Work with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and H2\. * Integrate with messaging systems like JMS and Kafka. * Collaborate in Scrum teams and use tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence. * Conduct code reviews and ensure application security, reliability, and scalability. **What profile are we looking for?** * **Less than 7 years of proven experience** as a Java developer. * Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot 3\.x, and JPA. * Solid experience in designing and developing REST APIs using OpenAPI. * Advanced knowledge of Maven; experience with Gradle and Liquibase. * Experience in web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). * Experience with unit testing tools (JUnit, Unit, WireMock). * Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, H2\). * Experience with messaging systems (JMS, Kafka). * Autonomous, proactive profile with mentoring and peer-support capabilities. * Experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes. * In-depth knowledge of software performance optimization. * Experience in profiling, monitoring, and debugging Java applications. * University degree in Computer Science or related field.
