Matters within their professional discipline include forensic pathology: functions related to medico-legal investigations and autopsies in all cases of violent death or suspicion of criminality upon judicial order, medical assistance and supervision of detainees, injured persons, or patients under the jurisdiction of judicial bodies, in the circumstances and manner determined by law. Issuing medico-legal reports and expert opinions, monitoring of injured persons, assessment of bodily injuries, forensic psychiatric evaluations such as incapacities, psychiatric hospitalizations, cognitive capacities, etc., that are subject to legal proceedings. They also perform investigative and collaborative functions arising from their own role. During legal proceedings or investigations initiated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, they will operate under the orders of judges, magistrates, prosecutors, and civil registry officers, performing their duties with full independence and based on strictly scientific criteria. * Experience: 1 month.
