Working at the EMEA HQ office in Madrid (Alcobendas), the BI Data Engineer will be part of the Network Operations department, working together with the Data Science team. Key Responsibilities * Analyze, design, and develop Datamarts / Dataflows ETL processes in Power BI, adding an extra security layout to our Analytical Platform, also ensuring the best experience for the user. * Design, develop, and maintain batch ETL pipelines and real\-time data streaming in AWS. * Ensure all components are highly scalable, maintainable, and monitored. * Optimize cloud services for security, cost and performance. * Together with the Business team, analyze, design and develop the analytical and reporting layer at a global scale. * Assist with user’s access, maintaining the gateway, creating and featuring corporate templates and applications to improve the visibility and end\-user experience of the platform. Skills and Abilities * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline * \+4 years’ experience in Power BI (Dax, M, Power BI services, Incremental Refreshes, Pipelines, Dataflows) * Strong proficiency with SQL and its variations amongst popular databases. * Strong object and service\-oriented programming skills in Python to write efficient, scalable code * Experience with relational and unstructured databases and data lakes * Knowledge about git code repositories, agile methodology * An understanding of business goals and how data policies can affect them * Working experience with cloud services is a plus * Knowledge of modern containerization techniques \- Docker, Docker Compose is a plus * Knowledge of developing and maintaining API services in a cloud environment is a plus * Fluent in English and have positive attitude and effective communication skills will be essential to work alongside your team members, be able to do troubleshooting, contact to business users and create training.
