DESCRIPTION Our client is a major company in the food industry sector, a national leader in manufacturing frozen cakes and pastries, with offices in the provinces of Tarragona and Girona. It is currently experiencing a very sweet phase of growth, aiming to become even larger over the next five years, supported by a defined growth plan. As a result, we are seeking a **SENIOR CONTROLLER** whose mission will be to lead strategy, operations, and the team reporting to them (*controlling*). You will manage a team of two people within a dynamic, high-growth environment focused on continuous improvement, and you will report directly to the Finance Director, who is based at the Girona office. **If you have never managed a team before, don’t worry—the company will provide you with the tools needed to successfully lead one**. We are looking for someone with solid expertise in management control within an industrial production company. The company is expected to continue growing, and new positions of responsibility will be created within the Finance Department. Your main responsibilities will include: * Strategic leadership of the Area, setting objectives and developing procedures to ensure efficient operations and adherence to high-quality standards. * Leadership of the team, promoting professional development, continuous improvement, and team cohesion. * Development, management, and monitoring of business plans aligned with the Company’s strategic guidelines, established budgets, and sales forecasts. * Leading a project to create/improve/design the Group’s entire cost system. * Acting as the key liaison during internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial transparency. * Preparing financial reports and presenting results to the Executive Management and other required stakeholders or interest groups. ### **What advantages will you enjoy?** * A stable position within a solid, dynamic industrial group with a clear focus on innovation. * Standard working hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30–18:00; Friday, 08:00–14:00\. * On-site work with one day of remote work per week. * Highly competitive salary, commensurate with professional background and merit, ranging from 50\.000 to 60\.000 gross euros annually. * Primary workplace in Montblanc, with availability to travel to the Girona office periodically. * A long-term project with strong potential to implement continuous improvement initiatives impacting all areas of the Organization. REQUIREMENTS * University degree in Business Administration and Management or equivalent. * Preferably \+8 years of experience in a finance department, especially in management control, within the food industry or broader industrial sector. * Experience as a controller in companies with annual turnover exceeding 100 million euros is desirable. * Familiarity with the SAP environment.
