Driving automation and best practices in API testing Location**Madrid** Category**Information Technology and Telecommunications** Subcategory**Quality** Sector**Information Technology and Services** Working Hours**Full-time** Work Modality**Hybrid (On-site and Remote)** Professional Level**Employee** Department**Information Technology** ### **Description** We are looking for **a QA Lead / QA Manager** specialized in **API testing to lead the testing strategy** for an **international project within the insurance sector**, located in **Barcelona (hybrid modality).** The project is conducted entirely in **English** and requires a profile with solid **technical experience and leadership ability** in **Agile environments.** **Responsibilities** * Define, implement, and lead the testing strategy within an API-centric architecture, using **MuleSoft** as the integration orchestrator. * Plan and coordinate testing activities within a team working in **Agile sprints.** * Support the team in the **design and execution of tests.** * Oversee end\-to\-end validation of the project’s business processes. * Drive **automation** and best practices in API and integration testing, ensuring coverage of customer journeys. * Facilitate communication among QA, business, and development teams. * Test management and tracking via **Azure DevOps.** If you have experience leading QA projects in API environments and are seeking an international challenge in an Agile setting, we want to meet you! ### **Minimum Requirements** **Requirements** * Minimum **7 years of experience** in QA. * Practical experience in **API testing** and integration/middleware environments (experience with MuleSoft is a plus). * Experience leading testing activities in **Agile environments.** * Experience in API test automation and tools such as **Postman.** * Experience with **Azure DevOps.** * **High level of English (minimum C1\)** – the project is conducted 100% in English. ### **Competencies** * AGILE * QA * JIRA * postman * Azure Devops * ISTQB * API TESTING * qa lead * qa manager * QA TESTER
