**About the Position:** As a Maintenance Technician at CBRE, you will be responsible for maintaining small- to medium-sized buildings, as well as industrial systems and equipment. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services department. This department provides support, performs preventive maintenance, and carries out repairs on equipment and systems. **Your Responsibilities:** * Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential issues, and carry out necessary repairs. • Assist in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. • Review assigned work orders and coordinate with system owners to track their execution. • Contribute to energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently. • Inspect existing facilities to verify compliance with construction regulations and safety standards. • Use existing procedures to resolve simple problems. Communicate basic information clearly and concisely. • Support the team through defined functions, methods, and tasks, as described in detail. • Achieve personal objectives by following defined procedures and processes, under close supervision and guidance. **Requirements:** * High school diploma, GED, or vocational qualification, with 1–2 years of relevant work experience. In cases where no formal qualification is held, a combination of experience and training may be considered. • Meet the physical requirements of the role, including bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and the ability to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more. • Ability to follow basic workplace routines and standards when performing tasks. • Communication skills to exchange information clearly and directly. • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
