Description
This person is responsible for managing the sale and promotion of tanks, conveyor belts, and industrial machinery solutions targeted at wineries and companies in the wine industry, building strong commercial relationships, identifying customer needs, and achieving sales and profitability targets.
· Business prospecting and development: identify and contact potential customers (wineries, cooperatives, wine producers, input suppliers), and convert opportunities into sales.
· Product presentation and demonstration: explain technical features, benefits, and applications of tanks (stainless steel, reactors, capacity), conveyor belts, handling and automation lines; conduct demonstrations when necessary.
· Quotation preparation and negotiation: prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and after-sales services.
· Project management and solution selection: advise on the best solution based on customer size, capacity, and objectives; coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics for implementation.
· Customer follow-up and retention: ensure customer satisfaction, manage incidents, coordinate preventive maintenance and service contracts; identify opportunities for additional sales.
· Sales management: maintain an up-to-date customer portfolio, meet quotas and targets, prepare sales forecasts and reports.
· Internal coordination: collaborate with marketing on wine-sector-specific campaigns, with technical service on installations and maintenance, and with finance on collections and warranties.
· Market and competitive analysis: monitor sector trends, pricing, and competitor activities; propose product or service improvements.
· Regulatory and quality compliance: ensure solutions comply with applicable regulations and food and beverage industry quality standards (food safety, hygiene, traceability where applicable)
* Experience: 2 years. · Minimum 2\-5 years in industrial machinery sales, preferably in beverages, food, or agriculture sectors.
* Medium-level Vocational Training Certificate (FP Grado Medio)
* Competencies / Knowledge: · Understanding of winemaking processes and process equipment (tanks, pressing, filtration, fermentation, stabilization), automation and process control; familiarity with conveyor belts and handling solutions.
· Technical skills: ability to read simple drawings or schematics, interpret technical datasheets.
· Mobility: willingness to travel frequently to customers and sector trade fairs; valid driver's license.

* Additional information: Initially, the annual gross salary is €25,196.08 plus commissions for the first 6 months; thereafter, it increases to €31,887.48 plus commissions.
