### **About the position**
As an Event Technical Manager, you play a key role in the success of our events. You supervise technical operations on-site, lead teams, and guarantee a top-tier client experience within a dynamic event and hospitality environment.
### **Main responsibilities**
#### **1. Technical operations & Equipment management**
* **Operational excellence:** Ensure smooth event execution by guaranteeing precise and rapid setup, operation, and dismantling of state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
* **Troubleshooting:** Quickly diagnose and resolve any technical failures on-site.
* **Safety & Compliance:** Strictly adhere to company safety policies. Report any risks to the HSE manager, line manager, or on-site Project Manager.
* **Equipment protection:** Protect equipment against theft and damage during handling and use.
#### **2. Client service & Stakeholder management**
* **World-class service:** Deliver exceptional service and continuously strive to exceed the expectations of internal and external clients.
* **Communication:** Maintain professional and positive relationships through clear and effective communication.
* **Team spirit:** Collaborate with internal teams before and during events to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
* **Strategic vision:** Understand and foster strong working relationships among the venue/hotel, our teams, and the client.
#### **3. Event supervision & Leadership**
* Lead technical execution before, during, and after the event alongside operational team members.
* Supervise and direct technicians on-site during live events.
#### **4. Team development & Mentoring**
* **Mentoring:** Support, train, and upskill members of technical, commercial, and operational teams as needed.
* **Talent development:** Foster an environment conducive to developing technical expertise and leadership among staff.
#### **5. Equipment maintenance & Logistics**
* Assist the team in properly preparing, securing, storing, transporting, and maintaining equipment.
* Conduct regular inventories and anticipate future equipment needs.
### **Candidate profile & Qualifications**
#### **Qualifications & Experience**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Audiovisual or equivalent field (preferred).
* **Technical experience:** Minimum 4 years’ experience in a specialized audiovisual role.
* **Client service:** 3–5 years’ experience in customer service or hospitality (preferred).
* **Project management:** Proven experience managing multiple complex projects or initiatives simultaneously.
* **Communication:** Ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse teams, varied clientele, and senior executives.
* **Languages:** **French or English mandatory** (spoken and written).
