PLANT OPERATOR

Description

Operate and monitor the industrial wastewater treatment process at the client's plant, carry out operational maneuvers and process records, and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of facilities, ensuring contractual and safety compliance. Industrial process operation and control • Monitor and control the operation of treatment plant equipment. • Perform operational maneuvers (start-ups, shutdowns, bypasses). • Record parameters and events in SCADA and the plant logbook. • Report incidents and anomalies to supervisors. Basic maintenance and cleaning • Carry out cleaning and basic conservation of equipment and process areas. • Support Maintenance Officers during interventions. • Perform minor first-level maintenance tasks. Quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency (Integrated Management System - IMS) • Comply with and implement procedures of the Integrated Management System: ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), and ISO 50001 (energy management). • Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) defined for each task. • Immediately report any accident, incident, non-conformity, hazardous situation, or significant environmental aspect. • Participate in drills, training sessions, internal and external audits, and safety meetings. • Actively contribute to efficient energy and resource use at the facility. • Apply good practices for waste segregation and management. * Minimum experience: 1 month. Prior experience in operating industrial or wastewater treatment plants is desirable. * Vocational Training Qualification (FP) – Intermediate Level * Competencies / Knowledge: SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE • Basic industrial wastewater treatment processes. • Operation of electromechanical equipment. • Basic instrumentation reading and SCADA operation. COMPUTER SKILLS Basic level (SCADA usage, data recording, digital tools used at the facility). * Driving license: B * Temporary employment contract (3 months) * Full-time schedule * Gross monthly salary ranging from '2300' to '2400' * Other relevant information: Full-time schedule according to the client’s calendar, possible rotating shifts. • Work at the client’s industrial plant. • Exposure to chemical, biological, and physical agents present in the process. • Possible work at height, in confined spaces, and in ATEX zones. • Compliance with the client’s occupational health and safety (PRL) culture and regulations.
