We are looking for an occupational therapist to join our team at a residential facility for older adults. The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting autonomy, participation, and quality of life among residents through therapeutic activities, cognitive stimulation programs, occupational activities, and individualized interventions, working collaboratively with the center’s interdisciplinary team. We offer integration into a stable work environment, with a team committed to person-centered care, continuous training, and professional development opportunities. \- Conduct assessments of residents’ functional, cognitive, motor, and social abilities. \- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with each person’s needs and interests. \- Design, plan, and facilitate cognitive stimulation, psychomotor, social skills, and functional maintenance activities. \- Carry out group and individual activities aimed at enhancing residents’ autonomy, participation, and emotional well-being. \- Promote activities of daily living (ADLs), encouraging maximum independence in hygiene, feeding, dressing, mobility, and other daily tasks. \- Assess and recommend adaptations, assistive devices, and strategies to support residents’ autonomy. \- Participate in preventing functional and cognitive decline. \- Monitor residents’ progress and document interventions in the center’s clinical records. \- Contribute to the development, monitoring, and review of the Individualized and Interdisciplinary Care Plan (PIAI), providing occupational therapy assessments and specific goals. \- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (physiotherapy, nursing, medicine, psychology, social work, and other professionals) to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care. \- Participate in community, festive, and center-based recreational activities. \- Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapeutic materials and activity spaces. * Experience: 6 months. A minimum of 6 months’ experience as an occupational therapist is required. Experience in residential facilities for older adults, sociosanitary centers, or dependency care services will be especially valued, as well as knowledge in cognitive stimulation, activities of daily living, and geriatric intervention. * Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Permanent employment contract * Part-time position (20 hours \- weekly schedule) * Gross monthly salary ranging from '700' to '900' * Additional relevant information: Schedule: Shifts available in morning and afternoon, according to the center’s needs and the professional’s availability. Hour distribution will be finalized based on service planning.
