We are looking for a technically skilled and solution-oriented professional who will assume overall responsibility for facility maintenance while also working hands-on at the machinery — this is not an administrative role, but rather a position that involves planning, coordination, and direct execution. What will your role be? * Organize and lead comprehensive plant maintenance: production machinery (mixers, stuffers, packaging lines), refrigeration equipment, cold rooms, drying chambers, auxiliary installations, and general services. * Plan and execute preventive maintenance, defining schedules, inspection checklists, and periodic controls to minimize downtime. * Directly handle corrective maintenance: fault diagnosis, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical repairs, and equipment commissioning. * Manage the maintenance team: work organization, task assignment, on-call shift scheduling, and personnel development. * Monitor spare parts and consumables inventory: forecast requirements, manage procurement, liaise with suppliers, and coordinate external technical services. * Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and occupational health and safety regulations specific to the meat industry. Profile * Technical education in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, electricity, or related field. * Prior experience in industrial plant maintenance; experience in the food or meat industry is especially valued. * Versatile profile with strong practical skills: capable of planning preventive maintenance and simultaneously troubleshooting and repairing equipment on-site. * Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and preferably industrial refrigeration systems. * Leadership and team-organization capabilities, without losing practical focus. Preferred Qualifications * Specific experience with refrigeration installations and cold rooms. Knowledge of automation and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Experience working under food safety standards (HACCP, IFS/BRC). * Residence in the La Garrotxa region or surrounding areas.
