Job Summary: We are seeking a Technician for 3D and 2D structural steel modeling, export of quantity takeoffs, and preparation of construction project certifications. Key Highlights: 1. 3D and 2D structural steel modeling using TEKLA and AutoCAD 2. Generation of fabrication and assembly drawings 3. Preparation of quantity takeoffs, certifications, and invoicing using PRESTO **JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * 3D and 2D modeling of structural steel and cladding systems to generate workshop fabrication and on-site assembly drawings using TEKLA and AutoCAD. * Export of material quantity takeoffs from modeled projects for transfer to the procurement department. * Preparation of quantity takeoffs, certifications, and invoicing for construction projects using PRESTO. **CANDIDATE PROFILE:** **SPECIFIC EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:** * Higher Technician in Construction Project Development and Application * Higher Technician in Civil Engineering or Building Construction Projects **ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a structural steel company as a Technician in the production department. * Proficiency in Tekla Structures. * Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; 3D proficiency is a plus. * Proficiency in PRESTO. * Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) **WHAT WE OFFER:** * **Contract: Production-based contract with possibility of conversion to permanent employment.** * **Duration: 6 months to indefinite.** * **Immediate start.** * **Salary according to the Badajoz province siderometallurgical collective agreement.** If you are interested and meet the profile, please send your CV to \[email protected] with the subject line «STRUCTURAL DRAFTER OFFERING» or deliver it in person to our offices at Calle Electricidad 1, Almendralejo (Badajoz).
