We are looking for a versatile Kitchen Assistant to work in Alcalá de Henares and join our team in September. **We offer** * Indefinite-term contract. * 20 hours per week. From Tuesday to Sunday. * Half-day shift. Morning shift. * Schedule: * Tuesday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. * Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. * Salary according to the Hospitality Collective Agreement. **Requirements** * At least 6 months’ experience performing duties in the sector. * Resident in Alcalá de Henares (not mandatory). * Availability to work any day of the week, either in the morning or afternoon. * Hospitality experience is desirable (but not essential). * Responsible, dynamic individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment; committed to cleanliness and order. * Start date in September. **What will your daily tasks be?** * Mise en place and assistance with plating dishes. * Food handling and pre\-preparation, such as: slicing bread, cutting fruit, preparing toast ingredients (grated tomato, avocado, cold cuts), assembling cold or hot sandwiches, baking frozen pastries (if applicable), and plating orders. Providing support as needed for food preparation and arrangement. * Stock and inventory control: checking stock levels; managing orders for required raw materials; receiving and storing goods. * Daily monitoring of food expiration dates and proper distribution within refrigerated chambers, according to each food item’s characteristics and in compliance with health authority regulations. * Performing cleaning tasks and maintaining order inside the facilities (surfaces, gastronomic utensils, machinery, and equipment). * Ensuring proper use and maintenance of kitchen utensils and machinery. * Complying with food hygiene and food-handling safety regulations. * Complying with food hygiene standards (HACCP). * Managing and supervising waste disposal in accordance with current regulations. * Upholding the chain’s image and values in all kitchen-related activities. * Attention to detail and quality in work performed. * Maintaining constant and effective communication with the entire team. Salary: €565.00\-€660.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
