Environmental Plant Operator

Description

We are seeking an operator for the water treatment plant in Boinás, Belmonte de Miranda (Asturias). Responsibilities include conducting daily water sampling at various locations, performing multiparametric analyses, and monitoring drained flow rates. The operator must also supervise the plant's operational processes, input measurements and production data into databases, and monitor treatment facilities and the lagoon network according to environmental criteria. Additional duties include basic equipment maintenance and cleaning, handling and transferring chemical products, transporting samples to the laboratory, and coordinating with external technical teams. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required, along with availability to work rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts, and completion of a Vocational Training Cycle in Energy and Water, Water Management, Environmental Health, or a related field. A temporary full-time contract is offered, with a gross monthly salary of EUR 2300.
