To lead the necessary transformation projects aimed at unifying disparate local architectures, converging toward a more efficient global architecture. **What will your day-to-day be like?** As a Public Cloud Technical Engineer (Kubernetes Administrator) at Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech Spain, your mission will be to support the technical team in resolving incidents and complex provisions. Your main responsibilities would include: + Implementing (via IaC), administering, and monitoring Kubernetes environments across multiple public clouds, both in IaaS and KaaS modes — AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE, etc. + Administration of OpenShift-based environments (on-premises, ROSA, ARO, etc.). + Monitoring and logging of Kubernetes environments using native tools provided by public cloud providers. + Monitoring and logging of Kubernetes environments (IaaS, on-premises) using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc. + Migrating Kubernetes environments between different public clouds, as well as from on-premises to public clouds. + Performing and supporting customer deployments on Kubernetes environments using kubectl, Helm, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, GitLab, etc.). + Keeping environments up to date — both infrastructure-level and application-level components. + Implementation of cloud and multicloud infrastructures. + Ensuring compliance with contracted service levels. + Process automation. + Proposing service improvements. + Applying DevOps methodology. + Change management. + Incident management. + Problem management. + Knowledge management. **And for that, we believe it would be ideal if you had…** **Experience** + 3 years in similar roles. **Education** Required: + Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. + An MBA or Master’s degree in technical fields will be considered favorably. Desirable: + Official certifications in hyperscaler environments: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. + Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, OpenShift, etc. + Experience with Kafka (deployment and management in containerized environments) will be valued. + Official certifications in Agile Project Management (e.g., PMP, ITIL) will be considered favorably. **Technical Knowledge** + In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes — both KaaS (AKS, GKE, EKS, etc.) and IaaS/on-premises (OpenShift, Rancher, native K8s, etc.).
