TEACHER (AL/PT)

Description

The AFANIAS Family Association was founded in 1964 and works daily to become a leading organization in intellectual disability, with social presence and influence, facilitating the autonomy and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, while responding to their life cycle. In this context, the position of Teacher (AL or PT) is open at NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LAS VICTORIAS SCHOOL. MISSION OF THE POSITION Promote the development of communication, language, and learning among students by providing specialized educational support necessary to enhance their autonomy, participation, and inclusion. MAIN FUNCTIONS: * Intervention in learning, speech, language, and communication disorders.  Development of intervention programming and objectives, as well as monitoring and reporting.  Individual and group therapy sessions.  Development of specific materials for communication.  Implementation of AAC systems.  Coordination with tutors and other professionals for intervention follow-up.  Coordination and follow-up with families. REQUIRED PROFILE  Required qualification: Teacher with specialization in Therapeutic Pedagogy or Audiology and Language (AL).  At least one year of experience in intervention for learning difficulties, intellectual disability, and AAC systems.  Positive and constructive attitude.  High capacity for independent and proactive work.  Social sensitivity and interest in social causes, especially disability. ADDITIONAL ASSETS (VALUABLE BUT NOT MANDATORY)  Experience in intervention and assessment with individuals with ASD.  Proficiency with pictogram-based tools.  Alternative communication systems, sign language, communication devices, pictograms, etc.  Knowledge of instructional programming, adaptation of materials and content, and evaluation. Salary according to collective agreement. Temporary contract. Working hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
