Job Summary: We are seeking a Geriatric Care Assistant for the afternoon shift, providing comprehensive care and support to users in their daily life, hygiene, and feeding. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive assistance to service users 2. Support with personal hygiene and feeding 3. Active participation in the care plan We are seeking a Geriatric Care Assistant for a temporary employment contract during the afternoon shift to fill geriatric care assistant vacancies. • Monitor all incidents or symptoms affecting service users and report them to the interdisciplinary team. • Assist service users with getting up, dressing, undressing, etc. • Assist service users with personal hygiene, including bathing, and help them with assistive devices (prostheses, wheelchairs, walkers, etc.). • Administer feeding to service users requiring assistance, using technical aids correctly. • Assist service users requiring mobility support during transfers. • Provide attention and prevention regarding elimination issues (maintenance and handling of urinary catheters, colostomy bags, etc., always under supervision and following instructions provided by healthcare staff). • Monitor sphincter incontinence. • Perform necessary postural changes. • Accompany service users during end-of-life stages. • Provide support to service users’ families, respecting their privacy. • Participate in the care plan under supervision of healthcare staff. • Complete documentation and records specific to each center for interventions carried out on each user, and record observations regarding the user’s condition. • Clean service users’ personal items. • Collect soiled clothing. * Experience: 2 months. * Catalan (spoken: Intermediate, written: Intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Competencies / Knowledge: Possession of a certificate in care for dependent persons and/or a Nursing Assistant qualification. Knowledge related to patient mobilization, hoists, etc. * Vehicle availability: car * Driving license: type A * Temporary employment contract (6 months) * Intensive work schedule * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1300' to '1450' * Additional information: Afternoon shift from 3 PM to 10 PM. Possibility of indefinite contract
