Join us in pursuing solutions for a sustainable future. ACCIONA, within its Construction Business Unit, requires a Site Manager for a major building project in its Latin America Region. Job Description Mission: * Ensure comprehensive on-site execution of a highly complex hospital project, strictly adhering to the construction schedule, quality, safety and environmental standards, and technical specifications. * Lead coordination of on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring continuous and efficient progress, and reporting to the Project Manager to support decision-making aimed at achieving project objectives. Responsibilities: * Coordinate and supervise daily execution of all work fronts on the hospital project, ensuring correct construction sequencing and adherence to established deadlines. * Guarantee technical construction quality by verifying that all activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, design criteria, applicable current regulations, and internal procedures. * Lead on-site teams and subcontractors. * Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety measures. * Monitor and report daily progress, identify deviations, propose corrective actions, and ensure traceability of operational information. * Manage material resources, machinery, and small equipment, optimizing their use and ensuring availability to support construction progress. Candidate Requirements: * Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. * Postgraduate qualification or certification in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is desirable. * Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in building construction projects. * Minimum 5 years as Site Manager/Construction Manager on large-scale projects. * Demonstrable experience in constructing hospital projects or complex high-rise buildings. * Experience leading multiple simultaneous work fronts and managing large workforces. * International mobility. * Specific Technical Knowledge: * In-depth knowledge of civil works, structures, finishes, and MEP coordination. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings. * Familiarity with hospital construction regulations (desirable). * Solid knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera or MS Project). * Proficiency in quantity surveying, take-offs, productivity analysis, and progress control. * Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) and labor regulations related to construction work.
