The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, operating, and securing our distributed event platform and service gateway. They will ensure the stability of real-time data flows and the connectivity of our cloud-based applications. Prior experience in support tasks is required. Technical Requirements and Knowledge: * Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly in deploying and managing containers using Amazon EKS. * Streaming Ecosystem and Kafka: Advanced proficiency in Apache Kafka and its associated components, including Kafka Connect, Kafka REST Proxy, Kafka Schema Registry, and ksqlDB. Experience administering clusters, configuring data retention and compaction, traffic quotas, and replication via MirrorMaker. Familiarity with management tools such as Lenses or Kpow is a plus. * API Management and Architecture: Administration of Kong API Gateway (including Kong Ingress-Controller and Konnect) in high-availability and multi-region environments. Experience designing APIs according to industry standards and using tools such as SwaggerHub. Knowledge of load-balancing strategies and service meshes. * Security and Observability: Implementation of security policies for APIs, management of rate limiting, and deployment of web application firewalls (WAF). Experience with comprehensive monitoring using Grafana, Loki, and OpenSearch, as well as implementing auto-scaling of consumers using Keda and Burrow. English: minimum B2 level.
