We are seeking a qualified, committed, and experienced social educator to join our care team at a municipal gerontological center. The goal is to provide high-quality care focused on the well-being and health of residents. Schedule: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Work alternates on weekends. When weekend work is required, Friday and Monday are days off. This role is performed by technical staff responsible for sociocultural activities, carried out in coordination with other professionals within the Care and User Support Plan, intervening, organizing, and implementing qualified cultural, social, educational, and recreational activities. The following duties will be performed, as well as any others requested that relate to these or to the candidate’s academic qualification, professional certification, or competencies: Understand, propose, and implement cultural intervention processes in their managerial and educational dimensions; Establish links between cultural and educational domains and social and economic processes; Access information sources and procedures to obtain necessary resources and launch cultural initiatives; Coordinate with professionals of various qualifications when designing and implementing cultural intervention strategies; Execute and manage budgets for diverse projects and programs, as well as prepare relevant reports and evaluations; Implement specific programs and projects; Promote the holistic development of users through ludic-educational action; Develop and apply individual and/or group animation techniques that engage users in the use of their leisure time, thereby encouraging their integration and personal and group development; Motivate users regarding the importance of their participation to achieve integration and positive interaction with their environment; Assume responsibility for any incidents arising during any tasks assigned to them or to sociocultural animation staff; Attend periodic meetings with other team members, as well as with managers of the various centers where cultural animation activities take place; Coordinate volunteer and trainee students in sociocultural animation; Deliver teaching sessions, talks, and lectures related to this professional category; Participate in the overall activity and budget plans of the various centers; Coordinate sociocultural animation working groups, activities, and budgets; Report to their immediate supervisor any incidents or anomalies observed during the performance of their duties; Hold the required academic qualification and/or experience for performing these functions, as stipulated by current regulations. * Minimum 6 months’ experience. Prior experience in socio-health or geriatric settings will be valued. Organizational skills, teamwork, and responsibility. Variable remuneration consisting of a payment equivalent to 6.08% of the annual gross salary (€946.45), or the proportional monthly portion, disbursed in January and July of each year, provided the employee has met their individual objectives.
