Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial mechanic for maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, ensuring operational continuity and managing spare parts inventory with attention to detail and proactivity. Technical autonomy and proactivity in heavy manufacturing environments The industrial mechanic will join a plant located in Ullastrell to carry out maintenance and repair tasks. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of heavy-tonnage machinery, such as drying systems, mills, ultra-rotors, and industrial mixers, thereby guaranteeing operational continuity throughout the shift. This position requires high responsiveness to technical incidents on production lines, along with meticulous attention to routine maintenance tasks. Solid technical skills in using workshop tools and performing quality welding are highly valued. The candidate is also expected to manage spare parts inventory for repairs and maintain an organized and safe working environment, adhering to current industrial safety protocols. The role includes administrative duties related to coordinating external interventions and scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance according to the annual plan. Technical autonomy and the ability to work toward mechanical efficiency objectives are required, with a proactive attitude in heavy manufacturing environments. The contract is temporary. Knowledge of welding, motor and gearbox repair. Prior experience with heavy-duty industrial machinery such as dryers, mills, and mixers. Ability to diagnose faults and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
