Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial mechanic for preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems at a waste treatment plant, ensuring operational continuity and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems 2. Equipment optimization and repair of pumps/motors 3. Teamwork in a regulated and safe industrial environment We are looking for an industrial mechanic to join the maintenance team at a waste treatment plant in Mataró. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of mechanical systems by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. This includes periodic inspections, component replacement, fault repair, equipment optimization, and mechanical repair of pumps and motors (disassembly, diagnosis, and part replacement). All activities aim to minimize downtime and guarantee process continuity with high safety standards. A permanent full-time morning contract is offered, Monday to Friday, in an industrial environment where methodology and order are essential. Technical training in industrial mechanics is required, along with a problem-solving attitude, analytical ability, and teamwork skills, all within a regulated environment and under strict safety standards.
