Position Summary: We are seeking a Shift Supervisor for the welding area in the automotive sector, responsible for line control, welding and assembly coordination, and equipment configuration. Mechanical and Parameter Configuration of Equipment In Sant Esteve Sesrovires, we are looking for a person to fill the position of Shift Supervisor in the welding area within the automotive sector. Main tasks include controlling the start-up of production batches and the overall operation of the line, as well as coordinating welding and assembly activities. The role also involves mechanical and parameter configuration of equipment, verifying cost, schedule, and quality requirements. It is essential to anticipate and detect failures early, correct cycle time deviations, and conduct destructive testing, gauge inspections, and weld bead assessments. Additional responsibilities include sending parts to DEA and macro polishing, reviewing reports, adjusting robots and welding parameters, replacing consumables, and correcting defective parts. A full-time contract of 40 hours per week is offered, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, 06:00–22:00, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position. * We seek an active and versatile candidate. * Proximity of residence to the workplace is desirable. Fluency in both Spanish and Catalan, both spoken and written.
