We give support and ask for help when needed, and together, we **share and celebrate** successes. **What will your mission be?** Ensure continuous improvement in part, material, and investment costs to achieve the company's strategic goals, securing targets and deadlines set for each project through end\-to\-end management of SEAT parts and development of business plans with suppliers. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Develop and manage business plans with suppliers to meet established cost reduction targets, monitoring corrective measures to prevent deviations if necessary. * Act as liaison between Purchasing and suppliers developing new products, as well as representing other SEAT departments before assigned supplier companies to manage claims. * Supervise model launches together with R\+D and Logistics, issue necessary documentation to ensure successful launch, monitor supplier/order allocation to meet timing targets, and claim part deliveries from suppliers in case of delays. * Manage and analyze technical, financial, and logistical information required for launching the Forward Sourcing process, establishing strategies for new parts to meet PSK objectives regarding part cost, investments, quality, and services. * Define supplier allocation strategies for new products according to company guidelines and objectives, request supplier quotations, and propose their participation in Global Forward Sourcing within the corresponding Local Purchasing Team. * Prepare documentation required for submission to the CSC (Corporate Sourcing Committee) for approval, and if necessary, renegotiate proposals according to established strategy; participate in weekly Premeeting sessions and various SEAT and Consortium committees when required. * Support the MRKs team in preparing and updating reports to monitor launch status, if necessary. * Prepare supplier nomination letters and approval letters, distributing them to relevant parties. * Monitor technical changes in the product, ensuring price and investment release for such changes. * Ensure resolution of modifications (Äkos) meeting established targets for timelines, costs, and investments, including placing the first order related to Äkos up to three months after SOP. * Ensure optimal Bidderlist development through benchmarking and conduct market scouting at national and international levels to propose new supplier sources for SEAT and the Consortium, contributing to quality, service, and purchase cost optimization while guaranteeing achievement of committed budget targets. * Prepare the list of parts required for pre-series vehicle production (PVS) when system types are not yet structured, and define specific action plans together with suppliers to secure parts if final methods won't meet the target (pre-series) date. * Monitor sample deliveries to CMC and Projects, issuing claims in case of delays, manage part entries (Nicht Schwerpunktteile) into PVS warehouse, and track sample delivery lead times for new parts (Nicht Schwerpunktteile). * Participate in the GFA/FCO process at suppliers to identify ongoing cost reductions. * Coordinate with other SEAT departments and the VW Group on assignments within your responsibility scope deemed strategic for the company. * Manage purchases of assigned materials according to established criteria and within the framework of VW Consortium procedures. **What requirements do we expect you to meet?** We are looking for a dynamic person with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys challenges.
