Join a company with a strong commitment to sustainability and strive to achieve your full potential in a dynamic and challenging environment that values innovation and experience. ***Come and join us on the path to success.*** **Job Description** We are seeking a mechanic to join IDIADA HQ’s Durability team: **Responsibilities** * **Mechanical and electronic operations in the workshop:** + Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and assembly tasks on vehicles. + Conduct electrical diagnostics, wiring, and troubleshooting of vehicle systems. + Operate workshop tools and equipment following safety protocols. * **Ability to follow vehicle manual technical specifications:** + Interpret and apply technical specifications and diagrams from official vehicle documentation. + Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and tolerances. + Consult service manuals and electrical diagrams to complete tasks accurately. * **Vehicle instrumentation and data logger configuration:** + Install, configure, and calibrate sensors and measurement equipment on test vehicles. + Configure and program data loggers (CAN-based systems, GPS, temperature loggers) for data acquisition. + Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and validate recorded data for engineering analysis. **Requirements** **Profile** * Demonstrable prior experience in mechanical and/or electrical fields enabling confident handling of technical challenges. * Proficiency in standard computer applications for daily tasks and interaction with digital systems. * Practical experience with technical instrumentation—sensors and data loggers—is highly valued. **Education** * Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Automotive Electromechanics, Electromechanical Maintenance, or equivalent qualification. **Languages** * Spanish: Native or fluent level * English: Intermediate level (B1/B2) is desirable **Additional Information** Applus IDIADA is committed to **equality,** **diversity** and **inclusion**.
