**About the Role**
------------------
We are seeking a **Functional Validation Engineer (Automotive)** with experience in the automotive sector, focused on functional validation and project management, capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders, analyzing incidents, tracking feature implementation, and ensuring correct system release in-vehicle within an international environment. **On-site position in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Barcelona.**
**Key Responsibilities**
------------------------
* Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (UNECE).
* Issue recommendations for feature release.
* Review and validate test cases.
* Prepare status reports on features and projects.
* Participate in follow-up, reporting, and incident escalation meetings.
* Validate features both in-vehicle and on test benches.
* Prepare and present reports and presentations on feature status and evolution.
* Coordinate activities with development, integration, and validation teams.
* Manage, analyze, and track incidents and tickets.
* Serve as the point of reference for monitoring the functional status of projects.
**Required Profile**
--------------------
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
* **Experience:** Functional validation, system testing, and incident management in the automotive sector. Prior experience in OEM or vehicle manufacturer environments is highly valued.
* **Tools and Technologies:** CANoe, ODIS, PuTTY, DLT Viewer, CoreOS, KPM, Jira, Confluence, CA Service Virtualization, Microsoft 365, vehicle testing and validation tools, ticket management and tracking systems.
* **English Level:** Advanced C1.
