**The Opportunity**

At our **Vacarisses** plant, we are seeking to hire a **Quality Control Laboratory Technician** for the quality control laboratory department.
Your mission will be to perform the required laboratory analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products at physicochemical, chromatographic, and microbiological levels, ensuring the quality of products manufactured at the Vacarisses plant.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
Planning:
* + Follow the inspection plan for analyzing raw material and intermediate samples, ensuring factory service and final product availability.
Execution:
* + Perform microbiological analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and water.
+ Quantify active ingredients (e.g., UV filters, preservatives, active molecules) in raw materials and intermediates using liquid chromatography and gas chromatography.
+ Develop and execute chromatographic analytical methods.
+ Perform physicochemical analyses on raw materials (residues, densities, pH, manual titrations and automated titrations, IR, gas chromatography, UV\-Vis, organoleptic control).
+ Perform analyses of fragrance raw materials (olfactory control, gas chromatography).
+ Generate documentation associated with the release of raw materials and finished products.
+ Manage the sample library.
+ Carry out tasks assigned by the laboratory manager and follow them through to completion.
+ Adhere to work procedures and instructions to ensure workplace safety compliance.
+ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for handling reagents or any laboratory equipment, following the company’s established safety rules and procedures.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives based on the *Lean Manufacturing* model, such as Green Belt.
Control:
* + Ensure analytical tests are performed with the required rigor and properly documented.
+ Monitor that product release complies with the quality standards set by the company.
+ Guarantee traceability of all analytical tests performed.
**Job Requirements:**
Experience in all types of laboratory analyses, including:
* Gas chromatography and liquid chromatography analyses.
* Microbiological analyses and water testing.
* Familiarity with physicochemical laboratory equipment (pH\-meter, densimeter, IR, UV\-Vis, manual titrations).
Education:
* Vocational Training Certificate Level 2 (FP2) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Laboratory Technology.
Languages:
* English: basic – intermediate.
