Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aluminum casting facilities and machinery. * Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures in industrial equipment (furnaces, casting lines, injection systems, conveyor belts, etc.). * Carry out interventions on production-related machining equipment: CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes, ensuring their proper operation. * Adjust, program, and commission CNC machines, optimizing parameters according to production process requirements. * Perform machining and adjustment tasks for parts, tooling, and molds. * Participate in the maintenance and adjustment of molds and dies. * Interpret electrical schematics. * Identify improvements in equipment and processes to reduce downtime and increase production efficiency. * Complete work reports, maintenance logs, and incident records. * Collaborate with production and quality departments to ensure proper line operation. * Apply safety, quality, and environmental standards, especially in high-temperature and industrial-risk environments. Required Education **Vocational Training (Medium or Higher Level) in:** * Industrial Electromechanics * Electromechanical Maintenance * Electrical Installations and Automation * Industrial Mechatronics Valuable Technical Training (Highly Recommended) * CNC Programming * Machining (milling and turning) * Hydraulics and Pneumatics * Industrial Automation (PLC) Certifications or Complementary Training * Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP), especially in industrial/casting environments * Work in high-temperature or industrial environments * Valuable Licenses: * Forklift Operator License * Overhead Crane Operator License Relevant Experience (Preferred) * Industrial maintenance * Casting, metalworking, or machining environments Employment Conditions * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Rotating morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday * Job stability within an established industrial-sector company * Salary: €25,000 – €29,000 gross per year, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications, plus shift allowances as stipulated in the Tarragona siderometallurgical collective agreement. * Location: Reus
