Join our **R\&D team** as an **Analytical Chemist**, where you’ll play a key role in supporting and improving our **packaging coatings** portfolio through advanced testing, data analysis, and collaboration with commercial and technical teams. **About the role** * **Ensure Lab Safety:** Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, following all safety protocols. * **Perform Advanced Testing:** Conduct detailed chemical, physical, and performance analyses of packaging coatings using a range of analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy). * **Support Product Stewardship:** Investigate product performance issues, raw material changes, and customer complaints through analytical testing and root cause analysis. * **Interpret \& Report Data:** Analyse complex datasets, generate clear reports, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders. * **Collaborate Across Functions:** Work closely with R\&D, Technical Service, Sales, and Marketing to support customer needs and ensure product quality and compliance. * **Drive Continuous Improvement:** Recommend improvements to testing protocols, lab practices, and product formulations based on analytical findings. * Applies relevant analytical approaches and techniques such as **FTIR, GCMS, LCMS, GPC and optical microscopy** **About you** * A degree in **Chemistry or a related** scientific field, with specialization in analytical techniques. * **3\+ years of experience in a laboratory setting**, preferably in coatings or packaging. * Hands\-on experience with analytical instruments and methods (e.g., FTIR, GC\-MS, SEM, DSC). * Strong communication skills in English and Spanish. * Ability to translate technical data into meaningful recommendations for non\-technical stakeholders. * **Availability to travel internationally during the training period** is required. * Personal vehicle to access the Site (in an industrial area) **What we offer** * Join a growing multinational company. * Permanent project. * Professional and personal development in a dynamic environment. * On\-site modality. * Dining room benefits. * Flexible remuneration. * Access to training platform. * Free parking
