Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive industrial draughtsman for the design, creation, and updating of mechanical drawings, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Therefore, if you consider yourself proactive, have experience as a draughtsman, and are looking for a new professional challenge, this is your opportunity!** We seek an industrial draughtsman whose primary mission will be to perform the design, creation, and updating of mechanical drawings, ensuring compliance with the company's technical, regulatory, and safety standards. As part of the mechanical maintenance department, key responsibilities include: * Creation and updating of 2D and 3D models and drawings for plant parts, equipment, structures, piping, and mechanisms for product, equipment, and installation manufacturing and assembly. * Preparation of detailed component drawings for manufacturing, machining, and welding. * Technical support and collaboration with the mechanical workshop to clarify issues during manufacturing or assembly. * Field data collection for resizing or designing parts, including measurements and volume calculations for material estimation and dimensions required for tenders and/or certifications. * Modeling of mechanical parts according to specifications provided by the maintenance team. * Detection of interferences in piping layout (P\&IDs), ensuring compatibility among various elements and structures, both for new and existing installations. * Preparation of bills of materials (BOM). * Control and archiving of generated technical documentation. * Standardization of drawings according to international standards (ISO, DIN, UNE). * Review and correction of legacy drawings to align them with current standards. * Collaboration with engineers and technicians on mechanical improvement projects or machinery redesign. * Support in designing jigs, guards, supports, and auxiliary elements required on-site. * Recording and updating of technical documentation for use in maintenance activities. * Coordination with the warehouse to verify technical references for materials and spare parts. * Review of the status and organization of digital files associated with mechanical work. **Required Education** * Vocational training in Drafting, Industrial Design, Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Construction Projects, or related fields; University Bachelor’s degree or Technical Engineering degree in the mechanical field. **Desirable Education** * Training in industrial safety and occupational health. * Courses in drawing interpretation and metrology. * Certifications in advanced CAD software. **Experience** * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mechanical drafting, industrial design, or similar roles within industrial environments or mechanical workshops. * Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or others).
