**Job Description: Sales Executive** The Sales Executive will support precision engineering and manufacturing companies based in Sora (Barcelona). This is a hybrid profile combining commercial acumen with solid technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and new product development. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing and retaining customers, and delivering technical solutions tailored to clients’ production needs. The Sales Executive will serve as the technical-commercial liaison for procurement engineers, production managers, and plant managers, delivering value beyond price through consultative selling focused on optimizing processes, costs, and lead times. The position requires initiative, results orientation, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into viable and competitive commercial proposals. **Key Requirements** * Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities within industrial and engineering sectors. * Manage and grow the existing customer portfolio, ensuring long-term relationships. * Acquire new strategic customers with higher-value-added products and greater margin potential. * Conduct consultative sales, offering manufacturing solutions—not just individual components. * Understand and communicate manufacturing processes such as turning, milling (3-, 4-, and 5-axis), grinding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), screw machining, and casting. * Interpret technical drawings, geometric and dimensional tolerances, and surface finish requirements. * Advise customers on materials (steels, stainless steels, aluminum, engineering plastics, and special ferrous and non-ferrous alloys). * Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and management teams to define technical and commercial solutions. * Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and bids, considering machining costs, tooling, batch sizes (prototypes vs. large series), and delivery timelines. * Negotiate commercial terms—including pricing, delivery schedules, volumes, and technical specifications. * Track quotations and projects via CRM or ERP systems, understanding long sales cycles. * Visit production facilities, industrial plants, trade fairs, and customers to better understand and enhance the manufacturing offering. * Report to management on the sales portfolio, forecasts, opportunities, and sales results. * Represent the organization professionally, with sound technical judgment and solution-oriented approach. **Desired Qualifications** * Technical education: Technical Engineering Degree, Higher Vocational Training in Production, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. * Solid knowledge of machining and industrial manufacturing processes. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation. * Knowledge of industrial materials and their behavior during manufacturing. * Familiarity with CAD/CAM environments to understand machine time estimates and costing. * Prior experience in a production environment—or strong willingness to work on-site. * Previous experience in B2B industrial or metalworking sales (3–5 years preferred). * Technical and commercial negotiation skills. * Results orientation and ability to solve technical problems. * Teamwork capability and adherence to organizational guidelines. * Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Proficiency in CRM and/or ERP systems. * Languages: Spanish and Catalan; technical English is mandatory. * Willingness and ability to travel for customer visits and industrial trade fairs. * Valid driver’s license.
