The selected candidate will work on developing and optimizing our data platform, ensuring its performance, scalability, and security. **A minimum of 3 years’ experience** in **scalable data architectures, real-time data processing, and efficient data storage** is considered a strong asset. We seek a profile with expertise in **Big Data environments**, **data pipelines**, **distributed databases**, and **efficient information processing**. **RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------- * Design, develop, and optimize Libelium’s **data platform architecture**. * Implement **data pipelines** for real-time and batch processing. * Manage **SQL and NoSQL databases**, optimized for efficient data storage and querying. * Integrate data from **IoT devices, external APIs, and distributed data sources**. * Develop and maintain scalable **backend services** for data processing and access. * Implement **Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures**, tailored to business needs. * Ensure **data security and governance**, applying best practices in access control and encryption. * Monitor and optimize platform performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (developers, data analysts, DevOps) to ensure efficient integration. **REQUIREMENTS** -------------- * Prior **experience of at least 3 years** in developing data platforms or Big Data architectures. * Knowledge of **real-time and batch data processing**, using tools such as **Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar**. * Familiarity with **SQL and NoSQL databases** (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.). * Development experience in languages such as **Python, Scala, or Java**, for data manipulation and processing. * Knowledge of **containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)**. * Motivation to learn about **Data Governance, ETL, and event-driven architectures**. * **English proficiency at B2 level or higher**. * Strong analytical ability, optimization mindset, and teamwork skills. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ------------- * Experience with **Data Governance tools**, such as **Apache Atlas or DataHub**. * Certifications in **data management and distributed platforms**.
