For our hotel in L'Ametlla de Mar, we are seeking a Head Chef with strong character, strategic vision, and managerial capability. Your main challenge Your mission will be to lead a complex and dynamic operation. You will bear ultimate responsibility for delivering flawless service—both day-to-day and during critical moments. **Scope of the role:** * You will manage a brigade of 28 people during peak season. We need someone who can motivate staff, organize shifts, and maintain a positive working climate under pressure. * You will lead two key areas: a high-quality buffet and wedding & event operations. What will your day-to-day look like? * Real leadership: Training and supervision of your team. You set the pace and quality standards. * 360-degree management: It’s not just about cooking—it’s also about numbers. You’ll control costs, prepare recipes and specifications (bills of materials), and manage procurement and suppliers to ensure profitability. * Quality and Safety: You’ll guarantee strict compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations. * Creativity and Execution: Designing an attractive gastronomic offering and overseeing presentation. Profile we’re seeking * Solid experience: Minimum 5 years in Head Chef roles, preferably within holiday hotels. * Large-team management: You’re accustomed to leading sizable teams and know how to bring out the best in every individual. * Managerial profile: You master cost control and inventory management.
