For our service center in Tarragona , we are looking to hire a Workshop Technician . This role is designed for individuals with manual dexterity, customer orientation, eagerness to learn, and commitment to high-quality work. Prior experience in the automotive glass sector is not required: if you meet the job requirements and bring the right attitude, motivation, aptitude for hands-on work, and desire to grow, specific prior experience will not be a barrier. Upon joining, you will receive comprehensive training at one of our training centers, where you’ll learn the procedures, tools, and knowledge needed to perform the role safely, reliably, and confidently. What will your day-to-day responsibilities be? You will join the workshop team and participate in vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration—following Carglass®’s established technical, quality, and safety procedures. **Your main responsibilities will include:** Performing automotive glass repairs and replacements. Using technical tools and equipment according to defined procedures. Ensuring service quality, safety, and workshop organization. Interacting with customers in a friendly, clear, and professional manner. Explaining completed work and addressing basic questions related to the service. Identifying customers’ additional needs and recommending solutions honestly and naturally. Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure smooth center operations and an excellent customer experience. What do we value? Interest in learning a technical specialty related to the automotive industry. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety. Ability to work efficiently, adapt to change, and maintain quality—even during peak activity periods. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers. Teamwork, collaboration, and a positive attitude. Valid driver’s license. Prior experience in automotive, mechanical, bodywork and painting, windshield installation, or similar roles is considered a plus—but not mandatory. What do we offer?
