**Vacancies Available** ---------------------- 3 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Hiring Reason** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consulting and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry and environmental fields, is seeking to hire 3 Naval Mechanics - Fisheries Inspection Andalusia (Huelva, Cádiz) **Work Location** -------------------- * Huelva **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Serve as chief engineer. * The main function will be supervising the operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment on board the vessel. * Responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of the vessel's engine department (engines and onboard services). * Responsible for reporting any incidents detected in the vessel's engine department to the vessel's captain, along with proposed solutions. * Perform deck work required at all times for vessel operations and maneuvers (handling and stowing fishing gear, departure/arrival and docking maneuvers, mooring to other vessels, etc.), as requested by the vessel's captain and/or the onboard inspector. * Maintain the Engine Logbook at the end of each working day. * Prepare periodic reports as requested by the vessel's captain. * As service needs arise, support fisheries inspection tasks on land (fish markets, warehouses, markets, fish shops, restaurants, coastline, ports, transportation, etc.). * As service needs arise, perform support tasks for fisheries inspection in other provinces. **General Requirements** ------------------------ * Possession of the Professional Seafarer’s Card for Naval Mechanic / Senior Naval Mechanic, formerly First Class Naval Mechanic / Senior Naval Mechanic, according to current regulations governing professional qualifications in Merchant Marine. Based on the title held, perform specific duties for which it qualifies. Carry out functions established in Royal Decree 938/2014, of November 7, amending Royal Decree 973/2009, of June 12, regulating professional qualifications in Merchant Marine, authorizing its holder to serve on ships and activities specified under current regulations. Serve as first engineer officer on merchant vessels with propulsion power up to 1,100 kW. (ATTACH CERTIFICATION WITH APPLICATION) **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Meeting these requirements must be justified by attaching the following documents in the “Attachments” section of the application (or during the process), as applicable: * Official academic qualification or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Work history record and/or employment contract verifying and certifying the required professional experience. * Internship attachments verifying and certifying the required academic experience, if applicable. ### **Other Essential Requirements** * Valid Class B driver's license. (Attach) **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Previous Experience** * From 1 to 4 years of experience as a senior naval mechanic. (If applicable, must be certified with Work History Report and/or job functions certificate, and also reflected in CV). * From 1 to 4 years of experience serving as chief engineer. (If applicable, must be certified with Work History Report and/or job functions certificate, and also reflected in CV). **Observations** ----------------- * Temporary contract with an estimated duration of 12 months, linked to the execution of the assignment detailed in the announcement for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or funded by European Union funds. + Full-time position.
