




Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer for electronic systems to join our multidisciplinary team, developing embedded software and maintaining existing software. Develop and maintain embedded software for test equipment At Sener Aerospace and Defense, we aim to incorporate a Junior Software Engineer for electronic systems into our Madrid or Bilbao office. We are an engineering company pioneering the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we address the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. Our passion for precision has positioned us as trusted collaborators of leading space agencies, government bodies, and enterprises. You will join a multidisciplinary team (hardware, software, firmware, and mechanics) developing equipment used to test electronics for control systems and mechanisms of antenna support structures, robotic couplings and anchoring systems, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. **Your Responsibilities:** * Learn the types of test equipment we develop and their applications. * Develop new embedded software. * Design new software features based on system requirements. * Maintain existing software by adding new functionalities and fixing bugs. * Develop and manage source code under Git version control. * Communicate and coordinate with team members developing firmware, electronics, or mechanical components. * Deploy and validate application software for test equipment during certification or production campaigns. * Define software validation procedures. **What We Expect From You:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree specializing in Electronics. * Proven experience of 2 years in a similar role. * Proficiency in C or C\+\+ programming. * Advanced English language skills. * Intermediate office software skills.
