Overview: **Join a cutting-edge project in the Payment Media and Critical Transactional Systems sector!** At **Expleo**, we are seeking a **Senior Java Backend Developer** to participate in the development and evolution of critical payment processing platforms. **Location:** San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) **Work Mode:** Hybrid### **What will be your mission?** You will join a specialized payment media team to develop, deploy, and support backend services in high-availability transactional environments, collaborating closely with middleware, database, and infrastructure teams.### **Key Responsibilities** ✅ Development and maintenance of integration-oriented backend services. ✅ Implementation of APIs and endpoints ensuring robustness, scalability, and traceability. ✅ Error handling, validations, timeouts, and recovery mechanisms. ✅ Deployment and operations on **Apache Tomcat 9** and **Oracle WebLogic** environments. ✅ Integration with **Oracle Database 19c**, including data access, transactional management, and performance optimization. ✅ Collaboration with database administration and middleware teams. ✅ Participation in code reviews, version control, and release management using Git. ✅ Support for critical environments with high availability and transaction volume.### **Essential Requirements** **Education:** University degree or Higher Vocational Training qualification English B2 Over 5 years of experience in Java backend development within enterprise environments.
