**HELLO ROCKSTAR!!** ---------------- We live in a strange time to build software: AI can now generate in minutes code that used to take months. That doesn’t make engineers less necessary — it makes them more important. Because what’s truly scarce now is judgment: knowing what to build, why to build it, and how to measure whether it worked. That’s what we’re looking for: a Senior Product Engineer who doesn’t want to be “just another technical profile”, but someone who genuinely cares about how what they build moves the business. **WHO WE ARE** ----------------- We were founded in 2021 with a whiteboard and a strong desire to reinvent traditional learning. Today we are \+130 people, three brands (Atlas, Polaris, and Explora FP), and have a very clear mission: to change how people learn. Our Tech team is flat — you don’t work for a single vertical; instead, you work across the pool of projects delivering the highest impact at any given moment. **HOW WE WORK** ------------------- No endless processes or hierarchies that slow things down. We operate using a three-layer system: * **Bets** — the CEO and CTO define the key challenges for each quarter. * **Owners** — each owner leads an entire project, from start to finish. * **Services** — Design, Product Management, and Engineering are available on-demand to support each owner’s needs. Your day-to-day: complete freedom to advance your project, make decisions as you see fit, and tap into service layers whenever needed. Daily standups every day, "after weekend" meetings on Mondays to reconnect as a team, and retrospectives every two weeks. Nothing more. No meetings without purpose. **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU** ----------------------- * 5\+ years as a full-stack developer. * Strong proficiency in TypeScript (additional modern languages are a plus). * Experience navigating cloud environments — we use AWS. * Ability to own a feature end-to-end: from definition through to measuring results. * Using AI daily as a natural part of how you build — not as an add-on. * Strong eagerness to keep learning. * Default communication mindset — giving and receiving feedback effectively, and adapting when priorities shift (they do here). * Availability to travel to Madrid once per month. We’re not looking for someone who only writes code. We seek a builder with judgment — someone who values impact as much as commits. **YOUR MISSION** ------------- **First 30 days:** You’ll learn how the team operates and its dynamics, and you’ll begin contributing from week one. You’ll be paired with a Tech Buddy who’ll walk you through the full technical landscape: how we work, who you’ll interact with, who makes decisions, where context lives, and where we’re headed. **First 60 days:** You’ll have your own project assigned.
