Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineering professional to develop robust, scalable, and high-quality services, with a focus on mentoring and active participation in agile teams. Active participation in multidisciplinary agile teams. This is a remote position. We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineering professional with extensive software development experience and a strong orientation toward building robust, scalable, and high-quality services. ### **Mandatory Requirements:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer. * Proficiency in Java 8 or later with Spring Framework. * Advanced experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. * Solid knowledge of unit testing, TDD, and BDD. * Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs. * Experience working with Kafka in distributed environments. * Prior experience in mentoring or providing technical support to junior profiles. * Knowledge of agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. ### **Desirable Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * Experience with Quarkus (minimum 2 years). * Understanding of Clean Code and SOLID principles. * Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube. * Basic knowledge of Docker. ### **Valuable Certifications:** * Certifications in agile methodologies. * Technical certifications in Java technologies. **PERSONAL SKILLS** -------------------------- * Proactivity and initiative. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Teamwork and collaboration in agile environments. * Responsibility and quality orientation. **RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------- * Development of robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services. * Design, evolution, and optimization of REST APIs. * Implementation of event-based integrations (Kafka). * Application of best development practices and quality standards. * Technical guidance and mentoring for junior profiles. * Active participation in multidisciplinary agile teams. **EDUCATION** ------------- * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field (desirable but not mandatory). **LANGUAGE** ---------- * English level B2 recommended.
