Description
The professional in this position will be responsible for supervising and maintaining electromechanical systems within an industrial production environment. Their primary duty will involve executing preventive maintenance protocols on machinery, including scheduled electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure operational continuity and minimize unplanned downtime. Additionally, they must perform rapid and effective diagnostics in response to any failure or breakdown, proceeding with repair or replacement of defective components—whether electrical (e.g., control panels and motors) or mechanical (e.g., transmissions and pneumatic components). This role is critical to sustaining the high productivity and safety standards required on manufacturing lines. Performing these tasks demands a thorough understanding of industrial electricity and mechanics principles, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to meet evolving production needs, ensuring all equipment operates within its optimal design parameters. Documenting all interventions—both preventive and corrective—is also an integral part of the responsibilities, to maintain an up-to-date asset condition history.
The company offers an indefinite-term employment contract from the start of the employment relationship. Working hours are organized into rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night periods during an initial adaptation and learning phase. Subsequently, there is the possibility of stabilizing the schedule into a fixed shift. The position includes opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company’s organizational structure.
A Higher Vocational Training qualification in fields such as electricity, production line maintenance, mechatronics, or related disciplines is required. A minimum of one year of demonstrable practical experience in an industrial setting, applying electromechanical maintenance knowledge, is essential. The ideal candidate must possess solid technical knowledge of production systems and common industrial machinery in the sector.
