CATALONIA HOTELS \& RESORTS is looking to hire a Deputy Reception Manager to work at our CATALONIA MAJORICA hotel (PALMA DE MALLORCA). **Main responsibilities include:** * Supervising and coordinating the reception team, supporting the Reception Manager in the department’s daily organization. * Managing check-in and check-out processes. * Providing customer service and resolving incidents, ensuring efficient and high-quality service. * Coordinating and supervising room assignments, room changes, and special requests. * Managing cash handling, daily closings, and monitoring administrative procedures specific to reception. * Supervising reservations, room sales, and availability control. * Managing and tracking customer calls, emails, and requests. * Supporting the training, motivation, and supervision of reception and bell staff under your responsibility. * Ensuring compliance with company-established quality standards and procedures. * Acting as substitute for the Reception Manager during their absence, assuming full departmental operations. REQUIREMENTS * Prior experience in a similar role or as a receptionist with supervisory responsibilities. * Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field. * Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are highly valued. * Strong customer orientation and leadership capability. * Organizational, communication, and incident-resolution skills. * SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
