Responsibilities: * Organize and manage the pastry section. * Coordinate and supervise staff jointly with the Pastry Head. * Prepare desserts according to established standards and ensure proper presentation. * Carry out proper receipt, distribution, and storage of food items within the section. * Organize and prepare necessary raw materials and equipment. * Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling regulations. * Adapt production to menu changes or special events. * Monitor stock levels and inform the Pastry Head about the need to procure products and utensils. * Maintain optimal cleanliness and order in the pastry section, including proper waste management. What Are We Looking For? * Qualification in pastry, confectionery, or culinary arts is desirable. * Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a pastry chef. * Strong pastry techniques and ingredient-handling skills. * Knowledge and application of food hygiene and safety regulations. * Excellent team leadership and management abilities.
