We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our Fire Protection Systems (FPS), playing a critical role in the overall safety of our customers. Responsibilities: 1. Preventive inspection and maintenance of equipped fire hydrant systems, fire extinguishers, and signage, including conducting periodic inspections and verifying that all components are fully operational and compliant with current regulations. 2. Corrective repairs and maintenance of existing equipped fire hydrant systems, fire extinguishers, and signage—diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain fire protection system functionality. 3. Preparation of detailed reports documenting all inspections, tests, and maintenance activities performed on equipped fire hydrant systems, fire extinguishers, and signage. 4. Sales of fire protection equipment: Providing customers with advisory support regarding the purchase of additional fire safety equipment and managing sales in accordance with specific customer needs and applicable regulations. 5. Advising customers on deficiencies and managing invoice collections: Advising customers on shortcomings in their fire suppression systems and proposing appropriate solutions, as well as improvements to equipped fire hydrant systems, fire extinguishers, and signage. 6. Adherence to internal company regulations. 7. Efficient reporting of completed work. 8. Compliance with and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental standards per QEHS-established procedures. 9. Adherence to the quality standards mandated by the Group across all procedures. 10. Performance of any other duties required by the needs of the position or department, without implying a change in professional classification. Requirements: * Minimum desirable experience of 1 year, which may be substituted by initial training in fire extinguisher and equipped fire hydrant system maintenance. * Technical knowledge of fire extinguisher types and operation. * Familiarity with fire extinguisher-related regulations and standards. * Skills in preventive and corrective maintenance of fire extinguishers. * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. * Awareness of workplace safety practices. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Commitment to staying updated with industry developments. * Basic knowledge of first aid and firefighting. * Solid technical skills and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. * Valid driver’s license. * Willingness and ability to travel.
